To celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation, the St. Bernard–Ludlow Grove Historical Society will host a ceremony at St. John Cemetery on Saturday, May 16, at 1:30 PM. While we will be recognizing nine U.S. Army veterans who will receive military headstones for their previous unmarked graves, our focus that day will be on the unveiling of a Civil War headstone for Pvt. William H. Bode.
